The UAL Level 3 Diploma / Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design & Communication (Fashion & Textiles) is a fast-paced and practical route, giving you the skills to develop ideas and design for a range of areas in the fashion and textiles industries. 

 

With projects across fashion, textiles, styling, promotion and fashion business, you will discover your strengths and define your future path. 

You’ll sample extensively across a variety of techniques and processes, developing an innovative approach.

 

Learning is supported by industry standard facilities including industrial sewing machines, textile printing, and laser cutting, Adobe creative suite software,– with access to facilities, such as 3D printing, photographic studios and more.

With a contemporary ethos and a commitment to developing your independent voice, the Extended Diploma element of this framework of study will prepare you for a career in the fashion and textiles industries.

Alongside the Diploma / Extended Diploma, students will complete two Industry Led briefs set by Industry specialists.

Completion of the Extended Diploma will give you a competitive advantage when entering Higher Education. We guarantee our Extended Diploma students a place on one of our BA (Hons) programmes if they achieve in their final assessment and meet any additional entry criteria.

Many of our students choose to continue their studies with us on degree programmes across art, design and media or apply to various universities across the country.

Future careers could include: fashion designer, accessory designer, stylist, textile designer, print designer, costumier, or illustrator.
